HOW TO MEASURE

Measure Correctly For A Better Fit

Use a flexible measuring tape and take measurements over light clothing without pulling the tape too tight. Compare your body measurements with the relevant product size chart before confirming sizes.

01

Chest / Bust

Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape level around the body.

02

Waist

Measure around the natural waistline without pulling the measuring tape too tightly.

03

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of the hips while standing naturally with your feet together.

04

Inseam

Measure from the upper inner thigh down to the desired trouser or pant length.

05

Sleeve Length

Measure from the shoulder point down the arm to the desired sleeve ending position.

06

Body Height

Stand straight without shoes and measure from the top of the head to the floor.

MEASUREMENT GUIDE

Before Taking Your Measurements

Accurate measurements help us recommend suitable sizing and reduce unnecessary fit issues during custom production.

Use a flexible measuring tape
Measure over light clothing
Keep the tape level and comfortable
Stand naturally while measuring
Record measurements in inches or centimeters
Double-check measurements before ordering

Body measurements and finished garment measurements are not the same. Garment dimensions include additional allowance depending on product design, fabric stretch and intended fit.

STANDARD SIZE CHARTS

Reference Measurements For Common Product Types

Women’s Fit

Women’s garments may use different pattern proportions from standard unisex apparel. Always confirm whether the required product should use women’s, unisex or custom patterns.

Youth Sizing

Children of the same age can have different body measurements. Chest, waist and height should take priority over age when selecting youth sizes.

Need a different sizing specification?

For custom manufacturing projects, sizing can be developed according to your approved measurement chart, reference garment or technical specification. Please confirm custom sizing requirements before production.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC FIT

Different Products Need Different Fit Rules

A single size chart cannot accurately represent every sportswear category. Fabric stretch, protective equipment, performance movement and intended silhouette all influence garment fit.

Basketball Uniforms

Typically designed with a relaxed athletic fit to support unrestricted movement during running, jumping and shooting.

Relaxed Athletic Fit

Soccer Jerseys

Commonly developed in regular or athletic fits depending on the club, fabric construction and performance preference.

Regular / Athletic Fit

American Football

Jersey measurements may require extra allowance for shoulder pads and protective equipment worn underneath the garment.

Equipment Allowance Required

Cycling Wear

Cycling jerseys often use a closer aerodynamic fit and may feel tighter than standard casual or teamwear garments.

Close Performance Fit

Compression Wear

Stretch fabrics are intentionally designed to fit close to the body and should not be selected using loose-fit standards.

Compression Fit

Swimwear

High-stretch materials require body-conscious sizing and product-specific patterns for secure performance fit.

High-Stretch Body Fit

Goalkeeper Wear

Goalkeeper garments may require additional room depending on padding, protection and layering requirements.

Protection-Based Fit

Women’s Activewear

Women-specific patterns may use different bust, waist and hip proportions compared with standard unisex garments.

Women-Specific Pattern

Confirm The Intended Fit Before Production

For custom manufacturing orders, please specify whether the required fit should be slim, athletic, regular, relaxed, oversized or developed from a reference garment or approved measurement chart.

CUSTOM SIZING

Your Specifications. Our Production.

For custom manufacturing projects, we can develop sizing around your approved specifications instead of relying only on standard size charts. This helps brands maintain consistent fit across their collections.

01

Your Size Chart

Provide your existing measurement chart and our team can review it before pattern development and sampling.

BUYER SPECIFICATION

Custom Sizing Approval Process

1

Submit Specifications

Share your size chart, technical pack or reference garment requirements.

2

Technical Review

Measurements and fit requirements are reviewed before pattern development.

3

Sample Development

A sample can be developed to evaluate measurements, construction and overall fit.

4

Approval & Grading

Approved specifications become the reference for grading and bulk production.

PRODUCTION TOLERANCES

Understanding Measurement Tolerances

Garment manufacturing involves cutting, sewing, finishing and fabric behavior, so minor measurement variation can occur between finished pieces. Applicable tolerances should be agreed according to the product and specification before bulk production.

Measurements checked against approved specifications
Critical measurement points identified before production
Fabric stretch and construction considered
Finished garments inspected during quality control

No Universal Tolerance

Measurement tolerance is not identical for every garment. Jerseys, compression garments, jackets, pants and stretch products can require different tolerance standards.

Confirm product-specific tolerances during technical development and sample approval.
CHOOSING YOUR SIZE

A Few Things To Check Before Ordering

Selecting the right size involves more than matching one body measurement. Consider the intended fit, fabric properties, product type and how the garment will be worn.

01

Between Two Sizes?

If your measurements fall between two sizes, consider the desired fit and product type before selecting the final size.

Consider Fit Preference
02

Check The Intended Fit

Slim, athletic, regular, relaxed and oversized garments can feel very different even when they carry the same size label.

Fit Affects Sizing
03

Consider Fabric Stretch

Stretch fabrics may fit closer to the body, while structured or low-stretch fabrics can require additional wearing ease.

Fabric Behavior Matters
04

Ordering For A Team?

Collect individual player measurements rather than selecting sizes only by age, height or previous uniform size.

Measure Each Player
05

Allow For Equipment

Sports involving protective equipment or additional layers may require extra garment allowance for comfortable movement.

Consider What Is Worn Underneath
06

Approve Before Bulk Production

For custom sizing projects, review and approve the relevant measurements or sample before bulk manufacturing begins.

SIZING FAQ

Common Questions About Fit & Sizing

Find answers to common sizing questions before confirming samples or placing your custom manufacturing order.

Yes. For custom manufacturing projects, you can provide your own size chart or measurement specifications. Our team can review them during technical development before sampling and bulk production.
This depends on the specific chart and product. Always check whether the measurements shown refer to the body or the finished garment before selecting or approving sizes.
Consider the garment type, fabric stretch and preferred fit. A closer athletic fit and a relaxed fit may require different size choices even when the body measurements are similar.
A reference garment can be useful when developing a custom fit. It allows our team to review dimensions, proportions, construction and the overall fit direction required for the product.
No. Basketball uniforms, soccer jerseys, compression wear, cycling apparel, goalkeeper wear, American football jerseys and other products can require different fit and measurement specifications.
Yes. For custom-developed products, the relevant measurements, size specifications and sample should be reviewed and approved before bulk production whenever applicable.
